Tutorial Details
- Requirements: After Effects and Mocha for After Effects
- Difficulty: Beginner
- Run Time: 13:04min
Today’s Quick Tip was created after a conversation with a friend who knew about Imagineer System’s Mocha for After Effects, but couldn’t bring himself to actually get in and play with it. We’ll be looking at two different projects: 1. Replacing what’s playing on a television and 2. Stabilizing a 4-month long time-lapse. If your project has you running for another cup of coffee, maybe it’s time to try Mocha… :)

The time laps example is very relevant !
Nice :P
Thank you for the introduction!
One remark to your corner pin. You don’t have to scale the footage to fit the comp and precompose it if you use mochaImport. The script detects the problem and creates the precomp automatically, if necessary. However, if you do it manually it also does not hurt…
Best

Great tutorial ! I used Mocha sometimes it’s better than track motion in After Effects
Why can not import the files MTS Mocha?
drop it into Adobe Media Encoder and convert it to an MOV. MTS is a funky compressed camera format.
thank you!
Nice tutorial. BTW, you remind me a little of Nick Campbell from grayscalegorllia.
well he’s a stud, so I’ll take the as a compliment :)
