Again I apologise for the vague/bad preview, but for those who haven’t used a grain card before I promise this tutorial will be worthwhile.

What is this Potatono-OOPViews677 file, I get when trying to download the video? It does not play and it’s the second tutorial that’s done that. Can we no longer download these video’s to our computers

      Hi sheila,

If you have a download manager just copy the link
and use that to download, it will come down O.K.

The videos are there it’s just a case of bad codeing.

      Regards.

Do you need to re-shoot your camera’s ‘grain card’ depending on what ISO your shooting in? Or can you shoot one ‘grain card’ at say 160 ISO and use it for any shot with any ISO?

My camera doesn’t have ISO settings so I can’t tell you for sure, but I believe that the ISO doesn’t matter. When filming with the lens cap on, it’s so dark that no matter what ISO you use there should be the same amount of grain (as the image is pitch black).

Update: I’ve just found out that on the canon 5 & 7D you will need a high ISO setting to get any noticeable grain, so the ISO is important!
