Breath Of Life

In this final part in the series, we’ll make the finishing touches to our animation whilst covering some of the more technical aspects of animating in After Effects. I’ll cover using the Camera Layer, creating and using Adjustment layers and animating logo text, along with a great new Expression.

    Great series. I wish, though, that you would have taken the animation stuff a bit further in the last one. For instance, how to efficiently stop the walk cycle and start it back up. Maybe have the character stop, look around, talk, and start walking again. I think I speak for many when I say animation tutorials such as this are few and far between. I have learned a lot and thank you.

    You need to do more. Since you have covered tha basics how about some more essentials for beginners before the more advanced. You seem organized and your words are short enough to understand. Theres no stress or any hurry up and try to keep up thing. Also I did not feel the need to say “please fast forward your tut”. This is the first tut I have whatched In sequence.

    This is HANDS-DOWN, the best AE tutorial I have ever seen!!! Great work!

    I am pretty familiar with Adobe Illustrator and am trying to get into more motion graphics. I’d like to create a 30-60 second animation that uses vectors that I have already created in Illustrator.

    I have a few 2D brochures, that i’d like to convert to animated sales pitches.

    I would like to create all of the text, artwork, icons/logos from scratch in Illustrator (which I already know how to do), and import and animate in After Effects.

    After scouring the internet, I have yet to find a tutorial that demonstrates this particular style. My guess is it is a pretty simple process.

    Your tutorial here comes the closest as it is a good AI to AE workflow.

    Do you have any suggestions for my learning the style similar to the video I provided in the link?
