enjoy it and don’t forget to thank the composer.
Hey mate,
excellent tutorial, i was looking for something like this in the expressions tab.
Just a quick question, you’ve got it time-remapped going back and forward like a scratch record, but what if you wanted it to continue in a linear movement but have it speedup and slowdown much like the example below.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTXlWYdodnc&feature=related
I’ve tried this expression but its kind of getting there…
timeRamp+theComp.layer(solid).effect(“SoundKeys”)(“Output 1″)
any thoughts?
I’ve asked the Trapcode people but they say its some kind of copyright infringement with time-ramp and they are not allowed to use that code anymore.
regards
Deelan
Hey Ran,
I’ve figured it out…
use this expression on the video footage :
timeRemap+thisComp.layer(“SoundKeys”).effect(“Sound Keys”)(“Output 1″)*.02 (adjust the number to the speed you like)
You need to adjust accordingly on the soundkeys filter of Type / falloff (Non integrate) / Output min-max (Cutsom) —your liking for the frames you want to glance over whilst the beat plays
Regards
Deelan
Hey Deelan,
That’s a very interesting question and i promise to look in to it after the weekend. stay tuned.
Great tut. While I’m learning so much from this, your “IVON” tip is memorable, I’ve probably used it the most.
Good to know, but it’s ‘I-BON’ not ‘I-Von’ ;)
Thank you.
I couldn’t follow this tut simply because the person doesn’t explain or show how he made the shapes layers and what did he do to them. I was left clueless what to do. When he started he already had 5 layers with something on them. Is there a way you can make a new video explaining what you did? Seriously these AE tuts people need to consider their audience which they don’t. I really wanna learn how to make this sad :(
Heii Ran,
I can’t wait for you to return from your weekend!
