  1. That was a very nice preview, clean and seamless composition.

There is only one thing i would like to point out – the footage is very dramatic with it’s sharp movement, and the focusing on an extremely over-sized moon at the end – all very dramatic. some atmosphere color correction and music would have compliment your shot and take it a few steps up.

But as i said – a very nice preview.

ONE thing , on the preview i can see the planet on the trees without traking.
But nice effect , nothing special.

Very simple; very nice. Well done. I appreciate things like this.

My only gripe about any of it would be about your description. You state, “To make your own planet visit solarvoyager.com,” yet when I go there I’m presented with some sort of forum website with a lot of different options — none of them stating “make your own planet”. I guess I was looking for some sort of quickie planet app or template or what-not.

It would be nice for you to get a bit more specific, rather than just tossing out a link that a newbie has to spend a lot of time exploring to ‘maybe’ find what you’re talking about. I eventually just left the forum… sans newly created planet.

A more accurate description might have been, “If you’re interested in creating your own planet and would like the help and resources of a space/planet artist community, visit solarvoyager.com”.

It’s really just a minor, minor gripe… I just dislike going to a link and then having to figure out why I was sent there, that’s all. But again… good tutorial. Would like to see more.

    Hi Clint

    i like your videos but i have a problem…

i did what you told me about the tracking backwards

but i’m confused do we track all the way backwards ?

and how come my moon always moves around with the camera and doesn’t stick to the sky

    like your one?

im stuck there coz if i tried doing the rest it just doesnt look good with the moon moving around =/
