Thank you for this. Very nice work.

As others have said, you were a little quiet and hard to hear thru most of the tut. If you do more tuts (and I hope you do) some more volume on the narration would be most appreciated.

    Thanks again.

    I couldn’t hear so much…
I followed the tuto by the video, ’cause i couldn’t understand the audio.

Beautiful effect, but you’ve done so many moves to do this.. I think it can be done without 3D positioning, thus laggin’ less your PC

yes it can done without 3d layer, but if you want some camera move then it is necessary.
Sorry for the audio, i couldnt help it. Next time, i shall make it better.

I’d rather my teachers not be Indian.

Tell the Gorilla to make a tut of this, and then maybe I’ll listen.

Wow. Couldn’t agree more. Really need to focus on the articulation of consonants and vowels before you record another tutorial. I’d rather listen to the computer generated voice.

    Nice tutorial :)

I just opened after effects the first time.. it was not easy at first, but then i found your tutorial..

Because you didn’t skip any steps, i learned so much!!! Thx.. I made the effect and all.. althought, the 3Dimention, on the mist at the end of fog part was hard to understand. So i skipped it .. Still i get nice result..

Correct me if I’m wrong… which is highly possible as I am very new to AE but loving it… the title of this tutorial is “Realistic Fog Without 3rd Party Plug-ins” but isn’t the CC Blur portion of this tutorial using a 3rd party plug-in? Hard to follow step by step when you don’t have access to the steps. Please correct me so that I can continue. I love this effect. It looks brilliant.

  14. Cordeliyar says:

Great tute, simple but effective exactly what I was searching for. And I didn’t have any problems following.

  15. Chris says:

Without 3rd party plug-ins, huh? Last I checked, all the CC plug-ins don’t come with AE and they cost an extra $200. Misleading title.

  16. Wes says:

Def a little tough to hear, but it didn’t hurt the tutorial in my opinion. Phenomenal job, you just saved me some money from purchasing plugins and stock footage. Thanks!!!

  17. marc says:

    just what I needed
thank you very much, great tutorial
