I didnt see the tutorial, but the preview is funny :D
Some qick tips if you want to recreate this effect.
-Absolutely unnecessary to make the reflection 3D and rotate it and ect. Just do a -100 on the Y scale.
-Track the rotation and the scale too, it will look a bit better…
PP – Great idea, bad tutorial!
Hi Antwan,
of course there many ways to recreate this effect!
1. You’re right: it is unnecessary to make the reflection 3D.
2. For this example it wasn’t necessary to track rotation and scale. This just would have cost more time and you would have need an second tracking point
greetings
alex
The example looks a million times better than that ‘Annoying Orange’.
A lot of people serach for this type of tutorial, now we can watch one good one! Thanks.. great job!

looks like the ANNOYING ORANGE from youtube – cool
Hey Alexander! Hey Alexander! Good tutorial lol. ;)
great tute, the title reminds me of In Bruges :D
“Doo-please”? Duplicate I think…
And if you watch closely, in the original “annoying orange” vids, they only mask out one eye and duplicate it, so you dont need match the lighting.
And if I were you, i would always track the rotation if you filmed something without a tripod.
Greetings from Stuttgart
You could make some points on the apple with a marker for easier tracking.
Had a very hard time sitting through to watch this tut. As others have said … Good idea, bad tut…..
Well… I think everybody already knows how masking, motion tracking, reflections and color correcting works. So, this was just a waste of time…

Try to keep the mic a little further from your mouth. Every time you swallow or smack you lips I’m kind of grossed out.
