There are so many projects where we blow up a Zombie head or have blood splatter against the wall after we shoot one. I think we’ve missed something important though. Zombies are… were people too. We need to be sensitive to what they’re feeling. Don’t just say, “Wipe those bloody tears off your face!” Hurting Zombies hurt people.

Requirements

    sorry but i think that the tracking result wasn’t that good.
    There is a much easier and sometimes more efficient way of achieving the end result. Maybe I’ll prepare a tutorial and upload it if i have time…

      I don’t remember if videocopilot or anybody has ever described about how to remove tracking markers points efficiently using Mocha and AE. I don’t remember even this if they have told you about how to show “bloody tears” coming out of eyes using “paint” in AE.
      Watch the tut first, I have already escaped the part to paste the wound cut on the cheek, assuming you guys are already intelligent and well taught by somebody else on the net.

    The tracking techniques are pretty nice,
    quite helpful, i guess…

    But the effects really aren’t very convincing :(

    The tear looks further away from the camera than the face on the exemple.

    Some tips were nice, but I think this site could have a little more advanced tutorials than this. no effence, it’s not bad. but nothing a lot of people will have use for in the future.

    I liked the tutorial…Mocha is sometimes forgotten by AE users, and Chandan’s
    lessons (this and terminator on his site) help to demonstrate its different uses…no one with cs4 and mocha in his hands should get into trouble using the AE tracker…keep the good work…also register at his site, you get access to Footage used in his tuts

      Maybe,but at the end of the tut I have clearly mentioned to play with the tools and options to get your desired results.It is just a tut to make you educate about the process and all.Its not like a spoon feeding or do you want something like that? If you’ll keep finding unnecessary flaws then you can’t concentrate on the method and the procedure.
      If you find this tutorial useful in any manner then move your butt and make something even more better than this.And that would be the happiest moment for me and I would feel great that my procedure or technique is somewhat worthy for the people.

    looking fake ! u can easily create this effect by using videocopilot healer tutorial without harming mocha.
    i m just wondering what happened to this site where all the good guys gone.

      ramesh, your clips in your youtube channel are horrendous, all of them. so poorly crafted and all copied from tuts all over the web. it’s so easy to trash about someone else’s work but still come up with crap, don’t be so arrogant, you haven’t earned it.

    I have been coming to this site for a while now, and its fair to say its pretty much the best free after effects tutorial site on the net. After reading negative comments from time to time and especially that last comment i say to all you wannabes, get some artists talent and maybe try your own idea and effects for once. Im sure most of the people who complain are really uncreative people who have know imagination or motivation to take from the tuts and create there own original ideas. To Ramesh and everyone else who whines, sorry tutorials that allow you to make something “cool” so you can look good and feel like your creating something elitist have not been posted. Give up any creative en devours you may have because you clearly need others ideas or training wheels to make your own work. Im sure this tutorial could be used for a million other things, but some people dont see that, they just see healing effect or what ever. Go learn to be creative, then watch some tuts or just sit and wait for the how to make Avatar tutorial.

      Yeah, I love this site too. Only problem are all these little debbies that cry and whine about how they weren’t spoon fed well enough. Maybe a little debbie or two should pick up their spoon and feed themselves instead of whining about a cold pea or two. Not saying you got to love every tutorial, but good god this isn’t an infant daycare.

    im happy for every (free) tutorial!
    this is great, i didnt have the time for research how to use mocha with ae.
    i do not have it. but i m sure, i will get it by the next adobe release, so i have a idea how to use it.
    the end result do not look fresh, but now i have to think about it, how to created
    it better and wich way is the fastest.

    I like it, it’s not photorealistic, but it’s a very good base to get going. One thing I hate is when a new tut comes out, youtube suddenly explodes with 50 of the exact same video, by 50 different people. At least with something like this, it has a really good starting point. And it’s up to you as a skilled designer to see if you have the skills to advance it.

    Knocking down this kind of shots at production quality would take many hours of work from a team, if you expect that result in a 20 minute tutorial you’re missing the point by a few miles…
    The goal is to learn the tools ,and be creative with what you learn…

    why did u watched those videos and wasted your time if they r a piece of crap. Yes some of the videos are copy of the tutorials of great instructors like andew, john, steve, aharon, alex, markus, Llyod, carl larson, eran and many because i love them and i m proud of using their tut in my work.

    i never give negative comment to any tut even in glowing hand. Since this was his comeback tut i was expecting a good output but the result was same as earlier. And the other reason, this was done by andrew sir 2 years back with realistic output and he did not mention his name who has given his life to the community.

    and lastly i m not arrogant and dun worry about my income i m earning a pretty handsome money with the help of above instructors if u watch my those crap videos closely u will get the proof.

    and created the EXACT SAME THING ! in allmost everyone of your video tuts minus the bullet .haha

    hi sir nice tut i have a litle problem i did exactly what you did in mocha and when i save the clipboard and past it in a nulobject nothing happen the nul object doesn’t move like your and i can’t see any trak point like in your nul object but their is the coner pin effect so can u replay me sir at my email

      When you export then choose “After Effects corner pin data” option( in case you have AE CS3 or CS4).Choose “After effects CS4 corner pin data” only when you have AE CS4 installed.Hope this should solve your problem.
