In this tutorial, we will build an entire 3D samurai chamber entirely within After Effects. From there we’ll animate a camera to fly through it as we light the whole scene. Finally, we take a look at depth of field. So there is a lot to cover!

Thanks for part 2 Adnan… your understanding of lighting etc will help me in future projects. iu still have some confusion with DOF etc… It would have helped me if you had explained your intent so i could have followed your tweaking of the settings. Because the changes are quite subtle, I wasnt quite sure whether you were wanting the foreground or the background out of focus… or maybe explaining what effect a large aperture as opposed to a small aperture would give. I’m sure a lot of people already know that, but i find myself fiddling with settings… hoping for a good result, but not sure why I am doing it! I dont mean to criticize, just to make your thought process and experience clearer to someone at an intermediate level. I still got quoite a lot out of it, so thank you for your effort here!

    regards ian
