Creating a Tracked Head Wound

Final Product What You'll Be Creating

This entry is part 7 of 12 in the The Complete Introduction to Motion Trackers Session
« PreviousNext »

In this tutorial Mathias shows that corner pin tracking can do much more than just replacing some pictures on a wall. We are going to compose a wound on a moving head and use the Mocha tracker in combination with his script MochaImport. Trust me, this is so much easier then creating a real head wound!

Requirements

  • Mocha Tracker version 1 is included in CS4 or you can get it on it’s own if you have CS3 from here.
  • MochaImport script which can be downloaded here. Help him out by donating if you can!
  • Red Giant Warp which is available as demo version here.

***This tutorial is basically a follow up to the first part that can be viewed below. So make sure to watch the first part first!***

So…..do you need both mocha AND Warp….or does warp do what mocha does…and more?

    Interesting overview.

My only other question is…..that guy isn’t REALLY leaving the house in that scarf thing is he? LOL! :D

You don’t need Warp, but having Warp adds some awesome functionality that allows for more advanced, yet easier to achieve effects.

  • http://www.painneck.com Neck Pain

Basically i had a knee operation back last june and the op was to replace floating cartilage in the knee joint, but also during the operation they found a piece of broken bone which had come afloat which they then screwed back onto the knee joint.
