    Hey nice tutorials you guys!

I have a question for a new tutorial. I would like to know how you can make a vertical crane shot moving up, while looking straight down on a subject. If there is anyway to do it without a professional crane and using a dslr camera for the job i would like to know.

    Here is an example:
    Look at the first shot.

I couldn’t get the link to work. It was just a still image. However, your shot description would seem very challenging to do with out a Jib. Let me look into it and I will see what we can come up with.

      Thanks for the interest!

Useful tut, but the fields lines are absolutely annoying on this second part of the tutorial. And of course, useless for web videos.

readers range from novices to pros, but these diy tips are seriously for everyone.
you can be a professional, with experience with expensive dolly setups and tracks and so on, but i can bet you not many of them can afford these same expensive setups they have knowledge with.
