This demonstration is about shooting a translucent object, in this case a crystal illuminated by a match, and compositing that object with stock footage of dramatic fire. Finally, we’ll be simulating similar lighting effects in After Effects to reveal a logo.

    Nice looking tut.

    Tip:

    Mentioning things like ‘first tut ever’ and ‘if anything goes wrong’ or any negative things related to the product or you in a promotional TEASER for a purchasable/subscription only item is a ‘no go’. Doesn’t matter if it’s true or not, it actually has no place in it. just don’t do that. ;-)
    Same goes for ANY kind of presentation.

    why it doesn’t say nowher it needs extra plugins like ‘optical flares ‘colorista2′ or ‘unmult’ ? after downloading it crashes every time at main compositions :/ no comment
