      I’m looking at my little brother aged 12, he could already hold a degree in computer science, but i’m a very afraid of people like you dear Terminator.
      I’m asking myself how you mange to be first on nearly every post on AEtuts and then asking for the first part.

      O.k., in this case you’re on second second place, because you’ve missed the first place for two seconds.
      So, go blame your internet provider or some scientist who invented the computer that seem to make some people far more thumb rather than developing their treasure of knowledge, thus improving their intellectual poverty.

    Hi Ran Ben, it’s ok about the expression so it isn’t worth to send me it .Thank u anyway . I’ve a other probem , I don’t know how can I write the differents texts in the differents cubs.

      Hi marvin, I had the same probreme but I think I’ve a solution and it can fuction but I don’t try it yet. If u try to add a text in the ” Texture ” composition u can remark that all the cubes will take the same text because they are made from the same texture , but if u try to make each cube with a differant texture you can add a text for each cube from texture composition ( texture 01 for cube 01, texture 02 for cube 02……..) . It can be long but I think it’s a solution.

    Help!! when I duplicatte the controls and then copy the expressions for each cube, I cant change the value from C01 high to C 02 hight, C 02 squash and so on, it displays a message saying it couldn’t find effect named “C02 hight”…

    Fantastic tut, though like most on here am wondering if its possible to add the text. without having to add text to the textures then remake the cubes. surely there must be a simpler way that im missing.

    Hi,
    Great tutorial thanks alot!

    I was having the same problem as alot of people trying to figure out how to add the text without starting again and I was able to do it really easily (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMxHpNGudyE).

    All I did was in the ‘Jumping Cubes’ composition where you have all of your cubes ready and bouncing I added a letter to each cube and then parented it to the null value for that cube, e.g. in my video the letter ‘F’ is linked to ‘Cube1 Null’, ‘R’ is linked to ‘Cube2 Null’ etc. I then just played with the opacity till it looked right.

    It pretty much worked straight away and took me 5mins maximum (and I am slow on after effects!)

    I hope the guys at AE Tuts don’t mind me putting this on here, your tutorials are fantastic but it has been over a year since this tutorial and I couldn’t see anywhere solving this problem.

    Anyway hope I can help!
