mine 8 sec took 2.5 hours to render.

hi. i want to ask not about tutorial but one thing from it.
i have done everything what you showed. but i cant hear any sound… everything works but no sound. i rendered it and still no sound. maybe my computer dont have ram for it? or what.?
You have to go into your render settings and make sure audio is checked, it’s at the bottom… otherwise it won’t render audio… it’s scared me before too… I”ve been like, “what the heck?!” yeah. let me know if that wasn’t it.

I am curious though, perhaps you could help me out, once the expressions are written out and I go to duplicate the layers, every layer that is a duplicate just sits there and does nothing. The first layer plays, and I got the z index right, but overall only one layer is animated. Where did I misstep at?

Wow this looks really cool! I can’t wait to do this one. I was reading peoples comments about render time. I’m running a 15″ MPB with 4 GB of RAM so it’s probably gonna take a long time to render. I got nothing but time. Love the tuts network btw.

this is amazing i just got a computer that could actually use after effects, but i have a question i have cs4 and when ever i try to go to comp 3 and add duplicates the shadows dont show up its just white and i have the cast shadows on but still no success, could you help me, please
Same problem here.
when you add your light make sure you click the box in the light panel that says “Cast Shadows” then you should be all set
how can i download a audio spectrum plugin after effect cs4 or 5 hurry because my exam is near send me link or setup of audio s. plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz its urgent my assignment are incomplite.,.,
how can you make the spectrum go the same length as the song instead of a minute?
