Do you have all evolution logo step by step file etc, mentioned in the tutorials, if it’s so please let me know, the files are not available.

  2. Pudding says:

ok, this is sure an awesome tutorial, but i had to watch it muted,
the computer generated voice was so unbearable painful to hear, that my ears nearly began to bleed.
so, awesome tutorial, but either do it mute, or not at all.

  3. Dominic says:

Is it only for me, but the voice sounds like from a voice bot :D

    • Topher Welsh says:

You mean stop with real world request and scenario tutorials? I can’t tell you how many times per week a client says “and I want my logo to fly in like….”

Keep up with tutorials like this… it really is a good one.

      • Fawaz says:

Topher I really appreciate your honesty, and the fact that you appreciate so much and stand for what is right!

Great tutorial by the way, the robot voice is awesome!

  7. Mocarg says:

What software did you use to generate voice?

Great tut! Would’ve been better if it was 3ds max but still great! xD

Thank you all for your comments! For me the most important thing is being able to break down language barriers to share with you my passion for this work.

    I agree….

    Antonio, Pisano…..

Please find a friend who can translate and do the voice over for you. After 10 seconds of listening to HAL talking I had to turn this off.

I was happy though to see Chad and the Metro PCS commercial… YUMMY!!!!!!

  12. Subsonic says:

I just love the Tron Legacy trailer and the music fits it nicely :) Nice and useful tutorial!

  13. Osvaldo_Tampico says:

Hi! First of all thank you for this great tutorial! I’m starting in the C4D world and I was able to catch out this tut! Just some tips:

-In the first part of the tutorial in 20:37 aprox you say the value of the coordinate but you don’t say the minus sign. That got me confused cause I was following you by voice.

-In 49:34 you say sequence consisting in 4 frames but you made it 3 frames as the others.

Just those observations, the other one is that you should say the coordinates of the logo at the very begining! before aplying the extruders. I tried to match the one you did but wasn’t exactly the same and because you made the animation exactly by the values you did I couldn’t get the best of the results, I had to adjust the camera movement at the end.

But even with this the tut is really really great! Obviously the important part was the texture and font extruding! The animation can be set up as anyone like! And your computer voice didn’t anoyed me at all! Again thanks you so much for sharing! I learned a lot! :D

  14. Osvaldo_Tampico says:

AH! Something else! You could share a tecnique for the characters to avoid messing with each others. When they are flying to the center they mix between them (even in your example) I know there’s an option but can remember wich is.

    Thanks again! :D

    • Author

Yes In the next tutorial I will devote a brief explanation of how. I’ll wait ….
As for the frames, are 4, as I say in the tutorial, arranged in frames in the timeline: (296,299,302,305) set (100%, 0%, 80%, 0%) ;)
If you want, plus you can become a member so you can download all the files of the tutorial project and compare your work. Thanks

Sorry Osvaldo, but I must inform you that the font you are using is covered by copyright and EULA, you can use it only if you buy through my site. Please proceed to payment. Thanks again.

      • Osvaldo_Tampico says:

Hi! But is it the same font? I mean, I downloaded this font from a free site that claimed the font to be of PUBLIC DOMAIN and the creator is called FRANCO FERNANDEZ, is not the same one you used in your tut, It had some mistakes in the vectors and the outer shape is square not rounded. Perhaps there is a mistake. I can send you the file to confirm. I would never use copyrighted material without the autor’s permission :)

I let you a mention in the description of my version of this tutorial! Thanks again!

Hello Oswald, thanks for the mention. Let me explain, I filed the copyright and the font will be available from October at My Fonts. Fernandez, tried to reproduce the font was originally created by Paul Albers, the one true creator. Fernandes has modified only three letters, but did not lodge any copyrights. However it was only to clarify that my font is not free, although it contains approximately 400 glyphs reinterpreted. If one day you will use the font for some of your work, you know you buy it complete. Thanks again!

  15. Donald says:

    Antonio,

    First off, nice tut.
Second. I would like to use this technique and your font. I followed the links to your site, and then followed through with a purchase of the combo pack font from your site through PayPal. After the transaction was complete, there was no redirect on your site for download instructions. No intructions in the paypal email reciept. And no email from your site as to how to download the font. I hope this is some kind of error and hope to hear something from you soon on this. Thanks. :)

    • Antonio Cerri says:

Hi Donald to complete the purchase process, missing all of your personal information to complete the certificate license EULA for yourself or your business. I sent an email with all the explanations.

      Thanks & Best Regards
      Antonio

      • Ryan Bissett says:

Hi Antonio, I have purchased from your website, I do not have a mail account set up on my computer, and there is no way to see your contact address. I would like to finish the process please. Thanks

  26. Jose says:

Antonio, the files that you mentioned on your tutorial are not available (c4d, evolution logo step by step files etc) The file that actually is downloaded is not the same as mentioned in your tutorial, therefore the opening can not be reproduced. I sign as a member following your tutorial. I’ll appreciate if you can provide the files required.

    Regards

    Jose

    nice tutorial !
but sorry copy and paste pivot coordinates is not a great workflow
holding down ALT when appling the extrude nurbs will automatically inherit the spline pivot point coordinates and save u a lot of time.

    • Author

      Thanks.
You’re right. Surely holding the “Alt” key pressed, apply extrude the spline, but for the rotation of the extruded letter, serves to maintain the pivot to the center of the object.
Copy and paste step is easier. ;)

  29. sabrina says:

I love this tutorial. But I have a question. I found a free tron font that, although not as good as yours, will suffice for now just for practice. And I want to put my own text in there instead of using the “AETUTS” one. But how should I go about that? Is there a separate tutorial on your website or instructions that you can send me to help me out? Also should I use freehand or illustrator? I’ve never used freehand before but if it’s easier than illustrator I can try it.
Thank you so much for your help as well as this amazing tutorial.

  30. Alex says:

good tutorial but you dont need any special 3d program just use photoshop Repousee (i beileve how its spelt) and import it as a layer and convert to a live 3d object. Good tip for those who for the stupidest reasons cant have a 3d program
