In this Quick Tip we are going to focus on using simple text layers and combine them with layer styles to get a cool looking logo design. This technique is pretty simple yet powerful for creating wide variety of designs. You can use as many layers of text as you want to get the desired look.

      Very NOT similar technique I may add. Similar result – could be, technique? – not at all. This site is about tutoring. Be thankful someone is sharing his knowledge so that you can learn something for free. People tend to be really witty when it comes to pointing fingers. Pay some respect to other people’s work.

    mr. could you tell how you make the maske around the text so when you apply the stroke and you apply the transparncy the stroke remane without vanishing with the rest ,could you tell me how you do it . thank you .

      Thank you Elliot. I save it in CS5.5, because this is the version I’m currently using. Next time I will make sure that I’m going to save it in CS5.

    Great tutorial :) I liked your accent, even though it was kindof hard to understand sometimes :P I did have a question, though, is it possible to just use an image premade with F/E photoshop or something? thanks :)

    Where this second part? This tutorial teaches only increase a logo design. Need a second part whith animation as final produt video, or 2 minuts more to finish (animation the opacity in last layers). Sorry my poor english.

    Don’t listen to negative comments. I understood you perfectly and found a very easy to follow tutorial. The only problem I found was that I wanted to know how to do the animation at the end.
