FYI you could use the grow edges effect to fix the problem at 6:40 (instead of precomposing). It’s just a bit cleaner ;)

      good call…

Does anyone knows how to do this in Flash/as3? like random masking of lines?

  • Anthony

How did you get the “chasing stroke” fx to apply?

Good Question… I ran through the whole tutorial and did one pass… then I duplicated everything and made a slightly thinner line for the second stroke.

You must keep the first stroke thicker, but have the end point follow right after it by parenting it to the start point and then just writing “-2″ after”… depending on your logo, that number might be different…

Hopefully that helped… but if that doesn’t make sense, let me know…

How did you make that glass or glass effect at the end? Nice work!

If you duplicate the layer and add a glow to the one on top, Then create a masked strip, it’ll look like a gleam when the mask it animated.

Ok, I see what you mean now… I did the same technique, but this time I just used a slightly different color of blue and had it draw on and draw off quickly to make it look like little glassy glimmers
