This effect of turning a TV off is extremely simple. Using noise, some basic masks, and a lens flare, the effect is quick and one that can add a nice little something to the end of an animation.

    Nice fast tut, but I’m not sure about the rendering out of AE as h.264. It compresses your video right out of the gate and AE does not do a very good job with h.264 compression. Cool to see some quick techniques, though.
