In this tutorial you will learn how to create sharp extruding squares to reveal either your text or your logo. This tutorial will focus on jumping deeper into Trapcode Particular to bring this animation to life.

    Is here something wrong with the preview video? Seems like on the first take with the AE logo that the background is F*ed up or something. Goes from something gray and choppy, then jumps to the white gradient.

    The second version with the text looks a lot better. Good job!

      Thanks! Yeah it looks as though the youtube compression got a little messed up. I’ll see what the deal is.

    Sorry but this doesn’t look neither Flattering or good at all! :| I mean! I’m used to see PREMIUM Tuts like the one with the cars racing on the street or the buterfly flying over a grass field! I don’t know, but this?! I’M NOT TROLLING! It’s just what it is! This effect looks really ugly :( Sorry but it’s true. I tried to see what’s the AMAZING thing about it but I failed! x( There are Free tuts better than this one! Or maybe I can’t understand what’s the amazing thing! Could someone explain? Cause as the look goes this isn’t good! :(

    I’d have to agree, the effect is not a strong one, It’s just a bunch of squares disappearing to reveal text. It’s not worth a tutorial, and definitely not a reason to want a premium membership.

    Meh…It’s not too shabby, but I doubt I’d pay money to see how it was done either. If the boxes formed the word shape better (instead of just fading off) it would pique my interest more.
