Good job !

thanks for the tut,
but you could have used some better colors.
Everything looks the same fuzzy brown.
Why not a blue ramp for the water instead of another brown?
anyhow, nice job !
( )Nathan October 14th
because the brown is kinda a safari color in africa and makes you think of traveling well it does me

I’d have said for that kind of “old world map” look. But hey, it’s all just a guideline.
( )Zsolt October 15th
Yea, the colors could have been better, on a low contrast monitor all the colors are more or less the same. Anyway that wasn’t the point of this tut, good work

To get project files and source material you have to become a Plus Member for $9 bucks a month.

The .eps isn’t in the project files.
Also when I open it I get this warning message:
“After Effects: this project must be converted from version 8.0×247 (Windows)
and will open as an untitled project. Standard Definition pixel aspect ratios
will be updated for compatibility and improved accuracy. The original file will be unchanged.”
And then I get the warning that 1 file is missing (the worldmap.eps)
(I do have tutsplus membership)
