Final Product What You'll Be Creating

In this tutorial we are going to create a beautiful Magnifying Glass in After Effects. Using just one null object as a Controller we will be able to change all the parameters: Size, Distance, Rotation, Blur, Shadow, and Background. Everything is going to be automatic, and this will save you a bunch of time when animating!

    Gracias

    Great Mikel.
Just a thing. Isn’t it enough to make the layers children of the control instead of have to be linking all of them with the PickWip?

    Thanks

You are OK Joaquín. Every layer where the Position/Rotation/Scale has been linked, you can make them “children” instead of linking. I got some unsatisfactory results with the “children” method, because the “childrens” use a relative values, not absolute, so I choosed the option of linking them. But if you make it in the correct way, the “children” method is faster and more efficient.

      Thank you guys!

Nice tutorial but where are the assets? I don’t mind making them myself but I was wondering if they were somewhere and I couldn’t find them!
