Nice tut, also think that techno stile is not a mainstream now. Would be happy to see some tut similar to
    for example https://vimeo.com/44819329 . cheers

I think with this tutorial and a little imagination a style as such is something which on a technical level and a bit of extrapolation is easy to re-create.
but that’s just my two cents.
Love the way how this tutorial is so in depth and I can totally see myself use the techniques explained in here on a host of other things, not just interfaces.

    Hey Stefan,

Great tuts as always. I have a question. As someone who uses Photoshop/Illustrator more I thought it would be easier to create the shapes with the pen tool even if it is circles as it’s easier to add fills and strokes without the need of creating so many layers and masks. Can I do the shapes this way or is there a reason for making so many layers and masks?
    Thanks

      Hi Parasuneversal.com,

yes you can do it that way for sure! I just found it easier for me to do it in After Effects, because I can make changes on the fly without the need of going in the illustrator file and make changes there and then get back in AE.
