This tutorial covers creating a stereoscopic 3D animation using Adobe After Effects CS4 or higher. Skills covered are animating in the 3D space using standard AE techniques, creating stereoscopic animations using a dual camera virtual rig and displacement mapping for stereoscopic animations. The tutorial is split into two parts, yesterday for the basic animation and today for the stereoscopic creation.

    you used some plugins in stereo controls layer that i cant find it in my AE
    where i can find them?

      Hi, there shouldn’t be any plugins required – however this is based on my own virtual rig – if you are a premium member you can download the source file that includes the entire setup for the eD-3D Virtual rig that I’ve used for most of my own 3D projects. I do mention the alternatives in the tutorial. Hope that helps.
