Final Product What You'll Be Creating

In this tutorial we will only use built in AE plug-ins to achieve the final effect. We will learn how to divide a layer into numerous parts and then how to control the geometric aspects of those parts using the advanced features of Card Dance along with the Ease and Wizz script. We will use Timewarp to achieve slow-motion and we’ll also experiment with CC Vector Blur combined with several other effects to achieve a cool looking background.

    hi, i’ve got as far as having to use the ease and wizz script on the multiplier (time 14:09), but i cannot open it as it says the file is not in the right place. could you give me clear instructions on what to copy and where to copy this information please, this would be much appreciated, thanks!

    Couldnt get the script to work. It shows up and says it cant locate the in-and-out-ease file. Ive tried re-installing and nothing.

      @Marcus and @ aaron. It seems like you guys have the same problem. The expressions themselves are separate files in the “easingExpressions” folder. The main script figures out which one you intend to use, opens the relevant file, and applies the expression to all the properties you’ve got selected. In a pinch, you could also do this manually (but it’s pretty laborious).

      Maybe you didn’t installed the script correctly in the first place. On a PC, the file you download from aescripts.com goes to a directory that usually looks like this:

      /adobe after effects/support files/scripts/ScriptUI Panels.

      Just paste the .jsx file in the ScriptUI Panels folder and restart your AE. I don’t know about Mac but it should look similar.

    When I make this video… I cannot get my logo to be far enough away in the distance. It seems as if my logo is stretched to the very edge of the plain, so it has no perspective to appear as if it’s moving toward you… its just a big, giant, stretched logo that isnt far enough away.

    How can I correct this?!

      … not only that, but my logo is warped. It looks like it’s been through “liquify”.
