  2. Marck says:

Where can we find the second plug-in you used, the one to set alpha mode in solids????

    • Christopher Kirkman says:

Forget the second plug-in. It’s much less of a hassle to simple add a black fill effect to the layer above the Sinedots effect and setting opacity to 0%. Instant alpha.

  3. Jeremy says:

Great tutorial. I will definitely be using that plugin for some motion loops.

My only gripe with Sinedots plugin is that it’s not 3D.

you can control sine dots with trapcode form!!!

link the sinedots parameters with trapcode parameters.

    this is how.

ALT click the stop watch of sinedots parameter and pickwipe to the trapcode parameter.

    then ALT click the trapcode parameter and enter Time*22.5 or somethig like that.. or Wiggle(1,45);

I was trying to make sinedots to react to sound..but have not luck yet..if any body figures it out please let me know.

I download sinedots yesterday after i watched your tutorial and 2day i was trying it out this plug-in is really kool ..and is gonna be way better. if it can work 100% with trapcode form.

  14. BlindPixel says:

Thanks for the tutorial. Must say it´s a really cool plug-in. Looks simple yet really powerful.
The idea with Form sounds really interesting as well.

  17. SlowX says:

It bothers me when a tutorial starts using additional plug-ins, especially paid ones, without notice.

Then it’s no longer a tutorial just on using Sinedots, but one using Sinedots, and UnMult and Starglow and…

  18. meh says:

  19. baris says:
