  8. Billy says:

Anything dealing with Form I like. I haven’t watched the tutorial yet….but I can tell I will like it. The effect is very cool….and very versatile. Great job!

It has now been several weeks since a crappy tutorial has shown up. I think it is safe to pull aetuts off the critical list! Great work Adam!

    • Roy42 says:

Wow, someone needs to grow up and stop overreacting to a tutorial not being exactly what you like.

From what I gather, the Tuts+ team understand a very simple concept: You can’t please everyone all the time. But they do what they can to provide tutorials that range in difficulty for users that might not be as advanced as you apparently are.

You have no right to deem a tutorial to be bad if it isn’t teaching you and only you something new every time. But you especially don’t have any right to say anything about the tutorial’s quality if you haven’t even watched it before you comment.

If you want to learn AE effects at a pace that keeps things new for you, either teach yourself or hire a personal tutor. But unless I’m missing a tagline of AETuts+ that says something like “Specifically catering to Billy and no one else.” then you can sit down and be quiet until you put out a tutorial that teaches us all how it’s done, oh great Sensei.

      Regards,

      ≈Roy

Umm….did you read his comment? He said that he really liked it. Might want to relax just a tiny bit.

      • Binggeba says:

I agree with Kyle, calm down, will you? It’s not like he can’t have a say about the tut… That’s why we get to comment on these things.

      • Billy says:

You are hilarious! You apparently haven’t been around here long. If you had…you would have heard this from me…

“Hey…douche bag….let me try to explain how LITTLE I care about what you think about what I have to say.”

        What a tool!

    • matthew says:

      Roy,

It’s okay man, you are not in the wrong. Billy is extremely annoying and really sucks at life.

In my opinion Billy shouldn’t be allowed to say anything about any tutorial, I feel he has lost his privileges to do so.

I really hope Billy is from Los Angeles and we cross paths at some point(especially in the industry). Though I believe he is actually 15 so it might be a long while from now.

Cheers Billy! can’t wait to see your motion showreel comprised of all the tutorials you’ve mimicked from the net!

      Billy’s #1 fan
