Final Product What You'll Be Creating

This tutorial has two key educational values. First we will learn how to create a fuzzy furry ball with two sad eyes and a ton of emotional expression taking advantage of the rarely used CC Hair plug-in. Secondly, we’ll be using the very powerful iExpressions by Mamoworld. Using this tool we will create a very simple work flow for a flowing, natural looking animation.

Great Tut! I’m a big fan of iExpressions. It was really great to see how you stacked the expressions on top of each other.

Awesome… love it. I really enjoy it when I see people using plug-ins in unconventional and unexpected ways.

Congrats Ran – loving it. Keep them coming :-)

    Cheers,
    Chris

I worked through your tut and my son and I had a lot of fun. But we are new to AE so can you tell me how you go about making and re-importing the PNG files. I have figured out how to get a PNG sequence with alpha. But from there we fall apart?? I would not ask but I have searched the web with no luck. Or it could be I really don’t know what I am doing.

Great tutorial love it. Is there a certain bundle of iexpression that you are using for this tutorial?

I just wanted to say that this was an awesome tutorial, and I have a great deal of respect and awe for those who come up with these types of things. It took a lot of playing around and experimentation, and must’ve taken a great deal of patience. Kudos!!

Hey there. First thank you for the amount of work you did for this video. The idea is great and the little monster is so cute (almost overdosed of cuteness :P ). Though I just want to let you know that the iExpressions plugin costs now 199US$ (versus an up-to-you donation before). You can download the demo version but this is only working in the first 20 frames of the composition. Therefore the iExpressions part of your tutorial can not be done as shown in this video unless paying. What a pity :( Anyway, once again, thank you for this video
