cool effect. I don´t understand why you didn´t use the actual AeTut´s logo (lol) but the effect is very simple and ellegant.

ONE MASSIVE HINT FOR THIS TUTORIAL.
As you may or may not have noticed, when you are using form to create a layer out of particles, the object of your layer is going to appear as partially transparent. If you watch Devin as he does this tutorial, you’ll notice that the appareance of his form layer ae box changes when it make it form. There is a solution to this thanks to Aharon Rabinowiz over at allbetsareoff.com (and of creativecow.com).

hello … I will let you know that I have a problem with trapcode form, try applying a layer that is a photo. png in (color and alpha) of the tab (layers maps) and it’s like not taking the form of the photo. . now expect a prompt response and thank you very much …

trouble installing them?
I have an illustrator file as my logo and im also having some trouble. When I apply the logo to my Clour and alpha layer I can see trapcode showing my logo in the background instead of a blank screen.
maybe you didn’t pre-compose your logo layer?
where can i get trapcode preset? can someone tell me :D

But i wanted to ask a question what programme do you use to record the video ? I am guessing that its not camatasi studio , because , when you type some thing there comes up a some kinda of a bar , with these simbols .
What is that , and what are you using ?

Thanks for watching! In answer to your question, I used ScreenFlow, for Mac. It has options to display all keystrokes made. I turn that on just in case I fail to mention any keyboard shortcuts as I explain the effect. The “,” is used for zooming out in the composition preview, for example. Hope that helps!

Nice tut, but I have a problem, at startup don’t know why the logo comes into scene in half part then appears complete thats annoying cuz I did like 3 times the tutorial and happens the same shit :( ..
I get a little confuse whit the flares layers to many duplicates :P
