Final Product What You'll Be Creating

Twice a month we revisit some of our reader’s favorite posts from back in the archives of Aetuts+. Today we’ll look at an amazing post from Maltaanon. This tutorial was first published in May 2009 and uses Trapcode Form to create something that would normally require a 3D application, but is accomplished entirely within After Effects.

Nice thing is that I can use this tut right now for a project I just started.

Wish your screen capture was clearer though.

    Blessings!

    • Rafi says:

for me the screen capture is crystal clear and extreme crisp!

      • Rev65 says:

That would be the downloaded version, ’cause the streamed version isn’t.

      • Lloyd says:

The streamed version might be degrading if the connection is poor. This is why we provide a download version as well so you can download it and watch it at full quality and resolution on your desktop.

Well that’s 30 minutes of my life I won’t get back.
We don’t need to know how *not* to do it, or all the other stuff. This is a simple technique that could have been explained in less than ten minutes.
Please, get to the point. I was rapidly losing the will to live by then end.

    • Mitchell H. says:

I feel really bad that you were forced into watch this free tutorial. I can’t believe someone did that to you! Did they also force you into writing a snobby comment?

  32. Sean says:

The streamed version is always fuzzy now that you guys made the change. The connection has nothing to do with it. The downloaded version is clear and crisp. Just don’t want to have to wait for the thing to download some days.
