Create a 3D DNA Strain
We are very happy to welcome AE legend Maltaanon to the Aetuts+ family. Maltaanon kicks things off with this tutorial that makes very clever use of Trapcode’s Form plugin to create something that would normally require a 3D application, but is accomplished entirely within After Effects.

Well that’s 30 minutes of my life I won’t get back.
We don’t need to know how *not* to do it, or all the other stuff. This is a simple technique that could have been explained in less than ten minutes.
Please, get to the point. I was rapidly losing the will to live by then end.

The streamed version is always fuzzy now that you guys made the change. The connection has nothing to do with it. The downloaded version is clear and crisp. Just don’t want to have to wait for the thing to download some days.
