Final Product What You'll Be Creating

Twice a month we revisit some of our reader’s favorite posts from back in the archives of Aetuts+. Today we’ll look at an amazing post from Maltaanon. This tutorial was first published in May 2009 and uses Trapcode Form to create something that would normally require a 3D application, but is accomplished entirely within After Effects.

I used several tutorials on this site to make this video of my holiday in Manicore, a small town in Amazon, Brazil

AE less than pygmy here. Spent a good hour painstakingly AEing following the tutorial but the final product is pretty limp compared to the DNA strand preview. Have re-examined all work but can’t seem to find out how to “end” the project so as to achieve the same result as the preview. Guess help is sorely needed.

Hi, less than AE pygmy here. Spent hour+ painstakingly following the tutorial but my final product is pretty limp compared to the DNA Strand Preview; somehow, what I built doesn’t match that one very well. I’ve checked things over but don’t seem to find any problems. Guess some help is needed and will certainly be appreciated!

Please forgive double post. Comments evidently appear sometime after submittal. Not seeing=not sent/received; sorry, not used to delay. Regards, I.G.
