Final Product What You'll Be Creating

This entry is part 11 of 30 in the series Hollywood Movie Titles

Today’s tutorial will explain how to make the “TRANSFORMERS 3” flying logo style. We will start with the modeling and animation technique of the letters in Cinema 4d. Then proceed with camera movement and the construction of the interior of the “O” letter, with a hi-tech coating. We will complete with the compositing in After Effects.
See your space! TRANSFORMERS. ;)

I am sorry to ask this, but where is the things that were suppose to be flying inside the “O” and “F” letter? It looks blank to me o.0 ….sorry but it doesnt not look like the real transformers 3 title effect, it looks more like a video done by amateurmedia.net…anyway, thanks sir

i really cant follow it with the voice over being computerised. Wouldnt it just be easier to do the voice over your self?

    • Nikita says:

I think Antonio may not have very good English skills, so he had to use a translator going into a computerized voice to have an English VO at all. Great tutorial!!

Hi, Just wondering what the cuts are for and how to make them, please answer asap and Antonio, i love your videos :)

  8. It was a good effort, but sorry this does not look like the Transformers title sequence. The actual sequence had moving chunks not glass like fragments when it first comes together.

Good shot though. ( Not being a dick )

If I join as a premium member, will the source files be the direct files for after effects? Also, once I have the source files is there an easy method to just change the text, for instance if I wanted it to type a date, instead of Transformers, or would I have to modify much of the animations. Thank you.
