Final Product What You'll Be Creating

This entry is part 6 of 25 in the series Hollywood Movie Titles

In this tutorial we’ll explain how to make the “Inception V2″ flying logo style, using Cinema 4D v12 and After Effects. First, we’ll be modeling a logo fracture with Mograph. Then we’ll follow in After Effects compositing everything together with effects. For Premium Members, I’ve included the version of the Inception Inline font, with letters to compose the Inception logo. Cheers!! ;)

On the V1 Tut When I Import the AI File it’s not in groups, what do i do?!?!?! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Hello Jefferson, when you import into Cinema 4D, in the Illustrator Import panel, you have to set:
      Scale 1 Centimeters.
Disable check, Group Spline and Connect Splines.
In this way, you have all the separate elements into groups.
      Antonio ;)

If you are not familiar with Illustrator, you can use, the tool Text+Extrude or Motext, to personalize your maze.
To work well with various Boole layers , you have to set the fillet cap correctly.
      Make a tests.

Hi antonio. In my inception V1, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdX2_YGSKmM , i couldnt render a lot of buildings, bt i have a graphic card of 512 Megabyte…I think it shouldnt be a problem right?? but i wonder why i couldnt fit in more buildings…or is it really because of the insufficient graphics memory??????…I`m using a Dell Studio 15 Laptop..

Thanks for the tutorial it’s really helpful, but the computer generic voice is just terrible. It freaks me out.

    You have very great tutorial!!!
My question is, I know you want to make money of it, but how can I get cutted letters?
I know I can buy it on your website, but I do not necessarily want to pay 40$ for a text, if you know what I mean….

    Please respond.
