  6. ShoeToad says:

”Proper use of Keylight” and you end up with a transparant bird? …

    • Emphazy says:

Only the wings are transparent as they should appear to be when moving at that speed.

      • Author

thank you “Emphazy” i couldn’t explain it better my self.
“ShoeToad” check out the original footage…

      • Nordh says:

If you’re going into slow motion, faking that it is recorded with a high speed camera, they are not supposed to be looking transparent though. That’s the beauty of having a high speed camera instead of slowing down footage. Things don’t get blurred into transparency when being slowed down.

The Keylight technique however is good knowledge, and really helps with motionblurred footage. I just don’t like the example it was used with here.

  7. I always praise good tutorials and this is one of them. Very nice, and the preview is just like watching a TVC of some 3d TV.

      • rks, I am not a judge but a critic. And I think this is the right of everybody who visits here, can criticize any tut, good or bad. Well it depends upon you how do you take the criticism. I think you and your some brothers from different mothers can’t digest my criticism, and it clearly shows in your hopeless comments.Work on Foo Bar’s points, it will help you.

  12. currysteph says:

once again this is a nice effect but after watching your tutorial I find that you make a lot of assumptions of your viewers as you are doing things in the tutorial without any explantions or what keys you are using.

It get really aggravating spending a lot of time trying to figure what you have done (as you do not explain it thoroughly.

Please in the future do not make any assumptions about the knowledge of your viewers and slow down you presentation.
