The Top Websites That You Should Check Daily

We all have a collection of sites that we check often, maybe once or twice a week, but there are some out there that you should be checking every day for inspiration, tutorials, giveaways, and news in the Motion and VFX world. This week I round up some of the sites that post more frequently and are worth checking out!

    • AE Portal News

Rich Young runs the AE Portal News website, which is one of the first sites I check in the morning (aside from AEtuts+ of course). There is always some kind of motion/vfx and tutorial news, usually multiple times per day.

    • CG Sutra

video copilot isn’t at the top………considering you see their stuff EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!

  • http://www.thr3shold-media.com Mark

Its a bit sad I know but I wanted to point people in the direction of my site!

I created it because I struggled initially to find all the CG and motion graphics tutorials I wanted so I thought I would try and make it easier for others by bringing a host of tutorials covering a variety of software under one site.

I have recently updated it so it also doubles as a blog for bits and pieces I find across the web.

The site is Thr3shold Media (www.thr3shold-media.com)

    Come and take a look.

    Regards

    Mark

sweet post. i actually check out a good third of these weekly. the rest i had no idea about. it’s funny how people try to pass off a lot of greyscale and videocopilot stuff as original work. i’ve seen so many demo reels in the past couple years where i could actually point out the tutorial/site that it came from. these sites are great for inspiration and pointers though. so thank you for the post. there goes my free time. makes me wonder why i’m paying comcast for cable tv. oh. espn.

  • http://www.dangerdom.com Dangerdom
