Very cool….Topher! Ironically enough, I was just pulling a bunch of textures off Lost and Taken today.
Question for you about Lost and Taken. It appears that the last update to this site was August 7th, but up to that point the blog entry updates seem to be pretty regular. Any idea what has happened?

hi All,
I’ve checked 1000skies.com, but it seems they ask money for all images.
$5 for 1000px partial skies and $ 100 for 360degree skies, so that’s not a free texture site.
Or am I not looking good enough?
thx,
( )marcel
Topher Welsh September 12th
I was talking about the smaller ones… I mean, they aren’t AS useful when they are like a medium size, but ya know…
( )marcel September 14th
hi Topher,
true, but you still have to pay for them… I only use these things commercial when I have the copyright for use or a Creatives Commons for it.
For non-commercial use, it’s fine.
thx. for the input.
