One of the most popular subjects for tutorials at Aetuts+ has been creating memorable logo reveal effects. Now we want to test what you’ve learned while also giving away a copy of the legendary Trapcode Suite and loads of Trapcode training. The total prize pool is valued at over $1,000! How to Enter

To win this competition you’ll need to create a unique and professional logo reveal using the Aetuts+ logo. We will be expecting you to think outside the box and delight us with your originality! We will choose one winner, judged by the Aetuts+ editor. This person will win a copy of Trapcode Suite 2009 and loads of Trapcode training, valued at over $1,000 – all supplied by our generous sponsor, Toolfarm! One other randomly selected entry will win a 1 year Plus membership, valued at $117.

Note that the logo sting you create will not be used in Aetuts+ screencasts unless you would like it to be. Otherwise, the logo reveal will be used for the purposes of the competition only.

You can dissect the logo, but you must download and use our official logo. Do not use other fonts or variations of the word Aetuts+.

Submission Guide

Your logo reveal should be 30 seconds or less and uploaded to a video service with HD (720p or 1080p) capability and publicly viewable. We prefer Blip.tv and Vimeo. You must retain a copy of your logo reveal in H264 Quicktime format as we will request a copy of the video if you win. This is so we can display it in the winner’s announcement post.

• Total running time should be 30 seconds or less.
• It should be 24p HD resolution: 1280×720 or 1920×1080 at 24fps
• You can dissect the logo, but you must use our official logo. Do not use other fonts or variations of the word Aetuts+.
• Your entry must be submitted before midnight July 31st, Eastern Standard Time.
• Envato staff or regular Aetuts+ contributors are not eligible to enter.
• Entries into the competition must be entirely your work. If you use stock files in the composition, you must have an appropriate license to use the file and place a link to the file used in the description of your item. This includes audio, images and other elements.
