Thanks guys, let me know if you make something cool! :)

  5. I always wanted to make my own library of these inspired by all the work I was seeing a few years back when I was starting school. This stuff looks great. I am re-inspired and hope to finally get it done for my personal archives.

good start but in my opinion it’s missing some power :) !

if you want to use this cinematic audio track, i think you should slow down the ink stroke and use frameblending to fill the inbetween frames. In that way the ink is also more dramatic (slowmotion) so it fits to the music :)

also the text isn’t that readable (for instance the first letter of the last word). Probably use the BOLD CAPITALS of the font :)

      Good luck man!

      • I agree. I definitely made this in a hurry and I think time remapping the stroke makes the effect much more powerful. I just wanted to bust something out to try it really quick, I may do another more in depth version.

Hey beautiful stuff, I was really impressed with the quality of the brush strokes and how can they be used via matte. I was wondering, what kind of paper and ink did you used for recording the footage? and also did the shadow of the ink was doned via CG or was it recorded live from the strokes. Thanks and great tut, you really made it worth my 9 bucks a month. Greetings from México.

Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t seem to find the link to download the files that go with the tutorial in the members area. I am a subscribed member. Assistance please.
