  2. zip says:

#18 – Aaron Patterson (Double Rainbow FTW)

  3. Hamilton says:

I also vote for a redo and a second round at this contest idea. Cash or Envato credit only for prizes.

  4. Anna says:

Votw for #15, Austen Henry! Its really cool, swear!

  5. Jordy says:

    #6 Raoul van Kammen
    nice idea!

  6. mtec says:

    #2 is the best

  7. ALI says:

    waiting for April :)

  8. Ben says:

There are a handful of quality renders here.
But #16 Jason Ritter really nailed it I think.

  9. atomo says:

    #8 is great

  10. Max says:

Most are pretty average – just doing the photoshop tutorial and animating the objects sliding or popping in. They didn’t give the concept a proper think.

But I think #13 and #16 are the best.

  11. Justsambo says:

So shaky, some bad, some good. But #13, I really like. Sound technique and fun soundtrack.

  12. James says:

Were we allowed to do tutorials from different websites?

  13. Ryan says:

Number 17# really stood out the most for me. Nice job.

  14. Mike says:

I think a lot suffered from creative development, but good for those who took a shot and threw their hat in the ring. Something more of us should have done.

Creativity wise #16 all the way, Took a good PSD and developed a creative way of integrating it in motion.
#7 was good but just seemed to end abruptly

For those talking about redo’s and recalls where were all your submissions??

  15. Bob Marshall says:

13 should be disqualified, in the description for the contest you said psdtuts website ONLY.
even though it is absolutely awesome, it makes it unfair for everyone else.

  16. i doubt the selection panel,
am sure there are better entries.
    #13 should be disqualified.

  17. Chris Slowik says:

    Double rainbow all the way!

  18. CLANCY says:

    #18 IS REALLY NEAT…

  19. Sue says:

#13 nailed our world as it is! That gave us reality, and Patterson’s rainbow gave us hope.

  20. Louise says:

I think #13 did a great job..keep up the good work Seth

  21. Ayarit says:

    the #13 should be disqualified

    The description says:

We just wrapped up the Aetuts+ Photoshop Contest where your goal was to create an animation based off of or inspired by a tutorial on “”Psdtuts+”"

  22. iKlsR says:

    #5 Alexander Dohr
    #16 Jason Ritter :D

BOTH ARE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL LOOKING ADVERTS!!!

  23. Me gusta el 09 de Jairo Arráez. Los demás tambié están muy bien, pero me quedo con el dinamismo de Roscachapa

  24. rosie says:

#17 is actually amazing, the effects are so good, looks like it should be in a film

  25. Michael says:

No. 13 is “Great.” This person has really grasped this concept.. Does he need a job? :)

  26. Dan says:

As much as 13 is cool, I think that is a common effect that isn’t even based off of a PSD tutorial. I still give it props, but it shouldn’t be in this competition. My favs are #17, #15, and #7. Those guys nailed it.

  27. Seth says:

I created #13. I found the tutorial on psdtuts, but didn’t realize until later that it was linked from a different site. Here’s the psd tuts page. http://psd.tutsplus.com/articles/web/53-crazy-good-digital-photography-tutorials/

  28. Top 3:
    [1] – #13 – Seth Piguet
    [2] – #15 – Austen Henry
    [3] – #18 – Aaron Patterson

  29. Other than my own video #18, my other favorites are #15 & #16. I really think they did a great job with making something better out of the tutorials.

  30. sam buckle says:

#13 is by the far the best.
