As many of you know, the team behind Aetuts+ is also responsible for a site called VideoHive which we launched in December last year. VideoHive is a marketplace for buying and selling motion graphics and AE Project files and as our only sponsor pays the mounting bandwidth bills to keep this site running!
Today I'm showcasing some of the best files on our marketplaces over here on Tuts+ to show our audiences not only what's available to buy, but for potential authors what sorts of things you can sell!

This will allow the visuals to blend with the music and really draw the audience into the sequence. The project is well organized and colour coded to make navigation easy. It is also broken up into scenes so making changes and/or adding in extra copies of scenes (e.g. if you wanted extra media displays) is quite easy.

Yep, in france, a lot of tutorials in french are from videocopilot but for free, this guy just took the aep project, changed expression from french to english and he is selling 15$ each!

There are some really great projects here, some I hadn’t noticed before. However, a lot of the links are broken.
I do see that some of the files are priced way too low- $12? If you figure the amount of time it takes an artist to create the file, then most of these files will have to sell 500+ times for the author to re-coup their labor costs. I know that stock is a sell over time business model. But a lot of these files could easily sell for $100+. Would like to see more producers valuing their work higher.

Hey Bill! Sorry about that, it seems that when we showcased the files a couple of tutorial writers pointed out that we had a couple of authors reselling the result of a tutorial. We have very strict policies on this sort of thing so they were removed faster than I could update the post itself
Anyhow they’re removed now completely and the authors have been banned.

If anything watch the preview of the projects shown, and take all the techniques that you learn from free tutorials, and make the damn projects yourself… it shouldn’t be too hard.
