Almost two years ago Denis Klepcha compiled a convenient chart showing the most used keyboard shortcuts for After Effects CS4. I’ve asked him if he’d make an updated CS6 version. You can download and print this cheat sheet out for your wall to save you from always having to stop what you’re doing and go through the “help” files.

    Nice reference.

    Could probably be a lot smaller if it was an indexed-color PNG or GIF, though. Also, the UI bits should’ve been scaled without interpolation.

        One of the win/lose tests at an interview is whether or not you know the hot keys. Your reel may look incredible, but they will test you on the spot as to how well you know AE. Speed is important since time is money to them. I botched an interview a year ago because I wasn’t quick enough. This is a major help!!

        Actually, is there a hot key to toggle down to the Audio’s Waveform level to see the wav…or did I miss it like a dumb@$$?

    Minor Improvements: reduce column widths to reduce whitespace between commands and operations. Also: consistent verb form in the imperative form is preferred, e.g.: “toggle”, “nudge”, “move”, etc. this removes unnecessary “s” suffixes.

    Also, I believe some shortcuts are missing, but will need to research.
